Military Aviator Program (MAP) Requirements.

Interested in joining our Crew? Please take a moment to review the eligibility requirements below:

Be a current U.S. military pilot.
Have greater than six months remaining until your projected date of availability.
Meet the applicable Southwest Airlines Pilot Hiring flight experience requirements listed in the job posting when it opened.
Possess a current military medical recommendation.

While not required at the time of your interview, you will need to have an unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit, and a FAA First Class Medical certificate before final MAP validation.
