Included in the email is your Southwest ID number and instructions to change your password to access our onboarding site (onboarding.swalife.com). The onboarding site includes the Online New Hire Packet and other important tasks, including I-9 and State Forms, you must complete prior to your first day. Where to go Monday
Go to the Southwest Airlines TOPS (Training & Operational Support) Building at 2170 Research Row, Dallas, TX 75235. Proceed to the gate on Research Row (not Wyman St.) and use your Southwest ID to enter in the right lane or use the left lane to inform the Security Guard that you are here for Now Onboarding. Continue to the right to find parking near the TOPS Building.

Class Check-in Notes
Check-in will take place in the TOPS Lobby from 6:30 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. CT. Due to large class sizes, it is strongly recommended that all participants arrive at TOPS by 7:30 a.m. Further direction will be provided once you have checked in at TOPS.
What to Bring
- The original I-9 documents you selected in Equifax for your identity and work authorization. Note: Your direct deposit will not activate until all your onboarding tasks are complete.
- Your Southwest ID (if you have it) or your Southwest ID number (provided in the email you received from swa@myworkday.com.
- If you would like to take notes throughout the day, please bring a notebook and pen/pencil or electronic device.
- Our Corporate Campus guidelines will align with current CDC guidance regarding face coverings.
- Lunch is on us! We will have a meal card or voucher for you at check-in. Campus cafeterias offer gluten-free, vegetarian, and other dietary options.
- If you are enrolled in a separate, multi-day training program, you will receive an email with more details about additional training and transportation.
What to Expect
- Please arrive early to select your preferred seat as there are no assigned seats.
- Any videos played in class will include closed captions.
- Instructors will use microphones due to classroom size. Microphones will also be available to participants during group discussions.
- At the beginning of class, there is a Red Carpet Welcome where your new Cohearts (what we call Fellow Employees) will celebrate you. This is optional and may include loud noises and other sensory stimuli. Those who wish not to participate may stay in the classroom at this time.
- Now Onboarding includes a walking tour of our campus that will cover about a mile over one and a half hours. It is recommended that you wear or bring comfortable shoes. There is a virtual tour option for those who wish not to walk.
