High School Part Time Opportunities with Huntleigh

Calling students ages 16-17!

Huntleigh is hiring students for part-time opportunities for Baggage Transporter, Janitorial, and Passenger Service Attendant roles. Students' work schedules will align with their school schedules. As a Huntleigh employee, you will support Southwest Airlines' operations. Please note that you will not be an Employee of Southwest Airlines in this role.

  • Students must be at least 16 years of age, pass a drug and alcohol test, be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and have a valid work permit in order to apply
  • Before you start the application, you’ll want to make sure you have on hand: 
    • Your phone number, address, and social security number
    • The name, address, and phone number for your elementary, middle, and high schools
    • The names of three references–these can be employers, teachers, or other mentors. You’ll need their work addresses and phone numbers
    • If you have a job currently or have had one in the past, you’ll need your employer’s address and phone number. You'll also need to provide your: start and end dates for the job, salary amount, supervisor's name, responsibilities, and reason for leaving. If you have not had a previous job, you can enter “N/A” in each field in this section
  • You can upload a resume and cover letter if interested, but neither are required
  • For the application question, "Were You Referred By The Southwest® High School Referral Program?", students should select "yes"   
  • A PILB card is a Private Investigators Licensing Board card and is not needed for the roles described here 
  • Students will enter their location at the bottom of the employment application
